We have an informal approach to midweek gatherings, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, providing each person the chance to deepen our relationships with each other and with God in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Some meet together in twos or threes to share, study the bible and/or pray together. Some are engaged in missional activity, planning events to engage with the local community. Still others, attend the 'Wednesday Watch' prayer and praise gathering. Some do a combination of these.
Sometimes we also have the opportunity to meet together in small groups - to examine some aspect of the bible or to focus as a church on prayer or mission.
All are welcome to join us at The Wednesday Watch for an hour of prayer & praise every Wednesday at 6.30pm.
Join us for our first session on Wednesday 1st March at 6.30pm for Fast Food - a Lent course from Open Doors. Food, video clips, facts and personal stories to help us pray for persecuted Christians across the world. Suitable for all ages. For further details see www.opendoorsuk.org/fastfood
Hope to see you all there.
Our newest and most eclectic group! Meeting every fortnight 7pm for about an hour, we will be working towards putting on a performance locally with a time and place for this already being planned. Nevertheless, you can be assured that this is a very informal group. Feel free to just turn up!
All ages and all levels from "might be interested in learning" to "here let me show you how" are welcome. There will be a £1 charge to cover costs of photocopying and refreshments. First session free.
